Presidents have no power.  When people discuss President X they might as well be gossiping about the love life of Barbie and Ken.   If you take their cloths off they have no naughty bits with which to be romantic.  The reality is presidents have very limited function

  1. Actor used to continue the illusion of democracy
  2. To be a target of hate when the bankers do something unpleasant. 

Apply these principles to President Bonespurs.  They're setting him to to be eminently hatable. He's part of that operation.  Remember the when Orange Julius did some wresting federation acting?  He's the wrestling heel.   

It is my supposition that you can tell how nasty the move the bankers want to make by how much hate their presidential scape goat is being set up for.
